I didn’t start Bibby Media Group to blend in. I started it to bet on the future.
Back in 2013, nobody was using LinkedIn for lead generation. It was just a digital CV platform—and most people treated it that way.
But after two decades in digital marketing, I saw something different. When LinkedIn launched, I knew it wasn’t just another network. It was the platform that would transform B2B.
So I bet everything I had on it.
I had just quit a job where the company took a financial turn for the worse. I was working without pay for several months and eventually pulled the pin. The day I left my job, my power cut off because of unpaid bills. I was $20,000 in debt and had nothing to lose. The next day, I started this business.
I booked my first meeting via LinkedIn by 8am and closed $15,000 in sales by 5pm. That day changed everything. We quickly became the industry leader in Australia for LinkedIn marketing.
I was invited to speak at conferences around the world, and was tracked down by leading brands like Westpac, Capital Group (the world’s largest hedge fund), and even Apple.
By the end of my first year in business, with no lock-in contracts, we hadn’t lost a single client. I had built a team of 12 and opened a beautiful office in Melbourne.

We’ve generated over $650 million in revenue for our clients through our LinkedIn strategies. I’ve trained over 40,000 professionals globally. And according to the media—we disrupted the lead generation industry.
